The holiday season is upon us at Cope Middle, and we're excited to celebrate with our "12 Days of Christmas" event for our faculty and staff. We need YOUR help to make this a memorable time for all. There are several ways you can contribute- whether you have a little time or a lot!
Please choose a day and time to volunteer! Each slot will consist of serving food/drinks and making sure items are restocked! We welcome any amount of time you can and truly appreciate your support!!

Happy Thanksgiving from Cope Middle! We are thankful for you!

CMS hopes you have a safe Thanksgiving break!

Last week our CMS 7th graders took learning outside of the school to travel to three different cemeteries around our community. Students observed historical figures that they have discussed in Social Studies class as well as viewed the resting place of Confederate veterans and soldiers they are learning about as well. For science, they discovered how rocks weather in nature, habitats for plants and animals, and specific ecology and biodiversity topics. They collected data for birth and death rates to calculate life spans to practice math skills. This is one of the most unique and interesting field trips our 7th grade class gets to attend each year. We are thankful to our team of 7th grade teachers who plan and organize this trip to make it an enjoyable and memorable trip each year! #theCopeDifference

The CMS Cross Country season has come to an end and our team, coaches, and families came to celebrate their hard work at a banquet. We are proud of their hardwork, improvement, and commitment. Also, many thanks and appreciate to our cross country coaches, Coach Tromberg and Coach Woodall for their time, planning, and coaching. You all make the Cope difference!

Congratulations to our CMS girls' soccer team members!

Clarification for CMS boys' basketball tryouts for Monday, Nov. 17; please see graphic.
Seventh graders will stay after school and report to the locker room. Eighth graders would go home and come back for 5:00.
Sorry for the confusion; with both girls and boys basketball seasons happening at the same time with only one gym, when one time changes, it affects all.
Best of luck to ALL of our Cope Cougars!

CMS: any students interested in trying out for the CMS SOCCER teams--- please read these requirements and take note of the dates!!
Please email Jennifer.Porter@bossierschools.org with further questions.
